The Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana (WCCIG) is delighted to announce the 2026 Board of Directors. With a renewed commitment to empowering women–led businesses and driving innovation, the Board is set to lead the organisation continuing under the theme: “Sustainable Growth: Building Capacity, Amplifying Impact.”

● Vice President and Chair of Fundraising & Events Committee: Ms. Shamela John, Chartered Accountant and Finance Specialist.
● Treasurer: Ms. Kadija Murray, Senior Analyst, Ernst and Young (EY) Caribbean
● Secretary: Ms. Lisa Mohammed, CEO, Sibs Contracting Services Inc; Director, Corporate Health Solutions Inc., and Operations Manager, WANSAT Networks Inc.
● Director and Chair of Membership & Outreach: Ms. Shevion Sears, Director, Sears Consultancy Inc.
● Director and Chair of Communications and CSR: Ms. Ulecia Bishop, CEO, UB Precision Eng.
● Director and Chair of Training & Development: Ms. Rowena Elliot, Office Manager, Blue Water Shipping Guyana Inc.
We also welcome Ms. Ulecia Bishop as Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Her expertise in management and communications will strengthen our efforts to enhance visibility, engagement, and organisational impact in the year ahead.
This dynamic team of motivated and empowered women is poised to lead the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana into an exciting and impactful year of growth and achievement. Guided by the Chamber’s theme, the Board will focus on creating sustainable opportunities for women entrepreneurs and professionals, strengthening capacity–building initiatives, championing policyreform for a more equitable business landscape, and amplifying the impact of women–led businesses across Guyana.
