Josephine Tapp is a legal and business professional with experience in law, taxation, construction, quality management, and corporate governance. She currently serves as President of the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana (WCCIG) and Secretary of the Private Sector Commission. Through these roles, she works alongside fellow leaders, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen opportunities for women in business, support entrepreneurship, and contribute to Guyana's private sector development.

Josephine also co-manages B&J Civil Works, a woman-owned and woman-led construction company, where she has focused on strengthening internal systems, improving operational processes, and supporting long-term growth. These efforts contributed to B&J achieving ISO certification in 2023 and delivering its first Oil & Gas project — reinforcing the company's commitment to quality and service excellence within Guyana's infrastructure sector.

Ms. John began her career at age seventeen as a Junior Audit Clerk I at Ram & McRae, gaining valuable experience working with the Audit Partner and Managing Director on audits and special projects across a range of entities.

Driven by her interest in accounting and auditing, she pursued her ACCA studies while working contractually with the Health Sector Development Unit. In 2015, she played an integral role in establishing an accounting and auditing firm, which grew under her management and leadership. She later contributed to the establishment of Ramdihal & Haynes, a management and consulting firm, and The Caribbean Institute of Forensic Accounting – Guyana.

Recognising her passion for helping entrepreneurs, particularly women, strengthen their businesses through sound financial systems and accountability, she founded RESYSCO by SJ. She also served as Finance Specialist for the Inter-American Development Bank’s Maternal Child Health Improvement Project and as Finance Officer with the Health Sector Development Unit, overseeing finances for World Bank and Global Fund projects.

In 2022, Ms. John committed fully to growing RESYSCO by SJ, with the business expanding through client satisfaction and referrals. In 2023, the company expanded into technology, soft-launching accounting software designed to help growing businesses bridge the gap between record-keeping and financial reporting.

Kadija Murray is a seasoned finance and strategy professional with experience in financial due diligence, regulatory oversight, market analysis, and public financial management. As a Senior Analyst at EY, she has supported buy- and sell-side M&A engagements across the banking, insurance, energy, and financial-services sectors throughout the Caribbean.

Prior to EY, Kadija held a leadership role at the Bank of Guyana, managing pension-fund supervision and regulatory compliance for a portfolio of over 110 pension funds, and gained significant experience in AML/CFT initiatives with the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an Executive MBA from FE Business School / University of Cadiz, Spain.

As Treasurer and Executive Board Member of WCCIG, she contributes to advancing business development and economic-empowerment initiatives across Guyana.

Lisa Mohamed is a business leader and operations-management professional with over a decade of experience driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and project execution across the healthcare, telecommunications, and construction sectors.

She serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sibs Contracting Services Inc., and as Operations Director at both OnCall Health Inc. and WANSAT Networks Inc., leading multidisciplinary teams and developing strategies that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and sustainable growth. She holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Social Work, with professional certifications in Project Management, Human Resource Management, and Women in Leadership.

An accomplished Master of Ceremonies, public speaker, and advocate for women's leadership, Lisa serves as Secretary and Director of WCCIG, where she contributes to governance, strategic initiatives, and programmes that advance women's economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Ulecia Natacia Bishop is a dynamic Civil and Environmental Engineer with over 15 years of experience in engineering and 8 years in project management. She serves as CEO of UB Precision Engineering, leading infrastructure-development projects that emphasise innovation, sustainability, and precision.

Beyond her professional career, Ulecia is deeply committed to youth and women's empowerment and community development. A passionate advocate for neglected and abused children, she dedicates her time to teaching life skills, values, and etiquette to help young people realise their potential.

She serves as a Director on the Women's Chamber, Vice President External for Junior Chamber International Guyana, and Secretary of the Guyana Volleyball Federation — continuing to inspire others through leadership, service, and impactful community initiatives.

Rowena Elliot, MBA, is a business transformation, operations, and institutional development professional with over 15 years of cross-sector experience spanning telecommunications, government, commercial real estate, oil and gas logistics, and private sector development. She currently serves as Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Blue Water Shipping Guyana, where she supports operational governance, process improvement, executive coordination, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.

Beyond her corporate role, Rowena has held national leadership positions with the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana, the Private Sector Commission, and BritCham Guyana, with women's economic advancement at the core of her work. Her leadership has focused on expanding opportunity for women entrepreneurs and professionals while building stronger business ecosystems that allow local enterprises to grow and compete.

She is also an alumna of the U.S. International Visitor Leadership Program and Global Women in Management, shaping her global perspective on leadership, entrepreneurship and inclusive development. Rowena brings a strong interest in organizational growth, local content development, and policy frameworks that enable Guyanese businesses to thrive.
